About Village of Nichols
Village of Nichols is located in Nichols Township in Tioga County, NY part of the Southern Tier region of New York State, between Binghamton and Waverly NY.
The village was settled around 1793 and was originally called the "Corners" then "Rushville," before changed to "Nichols" when the Tioga County was created.
Village of Nichols is about 0.5 square mile in size, with the Susquehanna River on the northern side of the village. The Southern Tier Expressway, Interstate 86 makes easy access.
